This page contains instructions on how to access and download games from Spiky to your phone.

Downloading games

You must have a suitable phone. Not all phones are able to access WAP pages nor are all phones able and download Java® games.

Selection and payment of a game is made using the secure payment part of this Spiky Web site.

Select

  1. Use the Games tab near the top of this page and enter your phone's manufacturer and model. Alternatively you may use the manufacturer links from the Spiky home page.
  2. Select the game you wish to download.
  3. Add the game to your shopping cart.
  4. When you have finished selecting your games proceed to the checkout.
  5. You will be given unique KEYs to enter into your phone to start the download.

Download

The download process involves using the WAP browser on your phone to access the Spiky WAP site and enter the key that you have been given. The exact details of using your phone's WAP browser varies from phone to phone; we therefore suggest that you consult your phone's manual.

Adding a Bookmark

We recommend that you add a Bookmark to the Spiky WAP site for future reference. The process is similar for all phones. A button by button detail for a Nokia 3510i is given below:

  1. Access the main menu:
  2. Scroll down to the Services menu:
  3. Scroll down to the Bookmark menu:
  4. Open the list of bookmarks:
  5. Select the Options menu:
  6. Scroll down to the New Bookmark item:
  7. Select the New Bookmark item:
  8. Enter the Spiky WAP site address of http://wap.myspiky.co.uk:
  9. Enter a title for the Spiky bookmark of Spiky games:
  10. Save the bookmark:

Download the Game

The download process is similar for all phones. A button by button detail for the Nokia 3510i phone is given below:
Nokia 3510i
  1. Access the main menu:
  2. Scroll down to the Services menu:
  3. Scroll down to the Bookmark menu:
  4. Open the list of bookmarks and select the Spiky games bookmark:
  5. Select the Options:
  6. Select the Go to option this will establish a data connection:
  7. The Spiky WAP site will be displayed:
  8. Scroll down to highlight the download? link and select the Options menu:
  9. Select Open link to open the download page:
  10. At the prompt enter the key you were given. Either just enter the number or use the Options and Edit menus:
  11. When you have entered the key select OK:
  12. Scroll down to highlight the OK link:
  13. Press Options and Open link to start the download:
  14. Download of your game will start automatically
  15. The game will be placed in the Games menu of your phone
  16. Quit out of your browser and open your game and have FUN.

Note that your mobile operator may charge you for the time or data transferred while accessing the Spiky WAP site.
